Vancouver Island is now home, although I was born and raised in the historic Highlands of Scotland. My husband and I and moved to British Columbia, Canada in 1974. We spent many happy years in Dawson Creek, in the Peace River area and, over twenty years ago, moved with our three sons to Campbell River.
My own health challenges encouraged me to learn more about alternative therapies and, with members of my meditation and healing circle, I studied Reiki and was attuned as a Usui Reiki Master in 1998. In addition, over the next few years I attained certificates in reflexology, Magnified Healing, traditional Japanese Reiki techniques, Indian head massage, and Bach Flower Remedies.
Having been a classroom teacher since 1971, I quickly discovered that I had a calling, not only to share Reiki, but to teach others. In addition, the more I learned about Bach Flower Remedies, with their gentle way of helping the emotions heal, the more I appreciated how well they work alone or with Reiki. In my reflexology sessions I work gently with the feet to enhance the relaxation process. Above all, I have learned through experience that the simple way is often the best way.
Complementary therapies have connected me with many wonderful people and given me the opportunity to try, in some small way, to pass on the light of love and hope in this world. I am blessed and grateful and can, perhaps, be of some help to you too. If you are interested in finding out more about taking a Reiki course, having a Reiki or reflexology session or a Bach Flower consultation, please contact me.
Wishing you peace, joy, prosperity and, of course, good health.
Namaste,
Isabella
