Did you learn Reiki some time ago and then for one reason or another stop your practice? Perhaps life got very busy with spouses or jobs, caring for young children or aging family. Perhaps you or your Reiki Teacher, who supported your development, moved or retired. Perhaps with lack of practice you simply lost confidence in your ability to pass on Reiki when needed. If so, a Reiki Refresher workshop may be of help to you. Once attuned we do not lose our connection to the Reiki energy, but regular practice on both yourself and others is key to keeping your Reiki energy strong.
A Reiki refresher workshop is for those who have previously learned Reiki 1 or Reiki 2. You must have your Reiki certificate at the appropriate level to take the workshop. You are welcome to have another attunement to your level and you will receive my manual which covers the important aspects of the level. As well as practicing techniques, you will have lots of opportunity to ask questions and to review my own collection of books and other material. The goal is for you to feel confident when you leave and to help you start back on the Reiki path.
These refreshers are one day classes, usually starting about 10:30 a.m. The Reiki 1 refresher will finish about 3:00 p.m. The Reiki 2 refresher (which will cover topics from both the first and second levels) will finish about 4:30 p.m. The cost for the Reiki 1 refresher is $50 and for the Reiki 2 Refresher $75. This covers the manuals and participants are asked to bring their own light lunch.
When someone requests a class I will work out a suitable date and time with them. Classes usually run on the weekend. However, there are other ways of organizing the workshop. For example, if you live nearby, you may choose to learn in the evenings. I will work around the group or individual’s schedule. We may need to be flexible if people are traveling distances. At certain times of the year I am also free to teach during the week.
First Degree/ Level 1 Reiki Refresher

• sending Reiki healing to those in another place (with their prior permission)

• working on the intentions of others (with their prior permission).

Today, more than ever, the gentle, compassionate energy of Reiki is needed in our busy world. It is interesting to observe that many people and institutions in the last few years have become more aware and accepting of energy modalities and if we have the ability to use Reiki to better our own small part of this blessed planet we can be of great service.
